Bella Hadid Continues Her Reign as the Fashion Queen of the Mediterranean

The Cannes Film Festival may finally be over, but that doesn’t mean Bella Hadid is done serving looks in the Mediterranean. Hadid is currently in Monaco and attended a brand event for Tag Heuer in a blood orange Jacquemus mini dress and a pair of (affordable!) Aldo heels.
The model posted her look to Instagram, sharing photos of her at the event standing by a Tag Heuer-branded helicopter, writing, “As an ambassador for @tagheuer I am proud to represent this weekend in Monaco. Thank you !”
Hadid has currently been busy in the south of France over the last week, walking the red carpet at the Pain and Glory premiere wearing a red Cavalli gown with a high slit up the leg. The gown seemed like a callback to one of her most famous red carpet looks at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival, where she wore a slinky and silky red Alexandre Vauthier dress with a way-up-to-there slit.
At the time, many wondered how she kept her composure in a look that had about 50 different potential wardrobe malfunctions. In an interview with Vanity Fair, Hadid’s then-stylist Elizabeth Sulcer provided the secret.
“The dress has a built-in silk bodysuit,” she revealed. “Top-stick [tape] is always a good idea. Practice makes perfect. You have to consider everything. A fitting is not the same as wearing the dress. Bella is smart and confident, and we knew she could wear that dress.”
For this year’s festival, Hadid also attended the premiere of Rocket Man in a billowing, tiered white gown by Dior, solidifying her status as the fashion queen of Cannes.
